Terms and conditions
Section 1– Initial consultations, how to book, delivery costs and pricing structure
Any order from a customer for items from The Wooden Ladybird Company is deemed to constitute acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
All prices detailed in our price list are subject to change and are excluding delivery costs. When able to we do offer collection from VIP Teas in High Spen of wedding items however this must be pre-arranged for a mutually convenient time and can only take place on Saturday mornings.
We are happy to discuss bespoke orders and your individual requirements for your day however please note that all bookings for wedding dates are not secured until booking fee has been received and acknowledged.
We offer free no obligation consultations at VIP Teas in High Spen to enable you to discuss your ideas in depth. Consultations are only held on Saturday morning or afternoon and must be pre booked. After your consultation we will supply a quotation via email, prices quoted in the email are valid for 7 working days after which time if a booking fee of £25 has not been paid and completed booking form has not been returned to secure your date we will open up the design slot for others to book and prices quoted in your email may be subject to change. Booking fee is deducted from final invoice for wedding items, it is not transferrable to other Wooden Ladybird products. Final payment for all items must be paid 1 calendar month before wedding date.
Booking fee is non-refundable if wedding order is cancelled. Prices are fixed once your booking is confirmed by payment of booking fee invoice as detailed in personal consultation email which will be sent out to you within 48 hours of your consultation for your wedding. If it is decided that you would like to add further products to your order which you have previously not registered your interest in and are not detailed on your consultation email then they will be charged at the current price listed on the most recent price list.
Wedding item prices are based on one design for invitations and one design for wedding day items/stationery with up to three revisions unless otherwise agreed.
If more than one design is required for your event, for example several places you may have visited, additional charges for design start at £7.50 per design. Price will be dependent on complexity and will be agreed before work is commenced.
We require full payment (including postage and packing) within 3 working days of your invoices being issued, we are unable to commence production until invoices are paid in full. Late payment will result in a delay in production and therefore a delay in your items being completed. The Wooden Ladybird Company will not be held responsible for late delivery/collection if it is resultant from late payment of invoices.
Postage will be charged at current rates charged by Royal Mail for postage plus £1.00 packing fee. All wedding items will be sent via Royal Mail First Class Signed For.
Section Two -how to submit wording
Once you have placed an order we will finalise wording with you and send you a final proof via email.
Details for all wedding items must be supplied in a Microsoft Word document. Each product must have its own word document, for example if both 6.4cm hearts and 7.6cm oblongs are required a document with a list of names to go onto the hearts must be emailed and a separate document for the names to be engraved onto the oblongs must be emailed. Again a separate document for every other item ordered must be emailed by the agreed date. All documents must be editable. All details should be provided as a single column, use of table function, bullet points etc. is not acceptable.
Only typed names will be accepted, if you would like to supply handwritten details for The Wooden Ladybird Company to compile this will incur an additional administration fee which is payable before any work is commenced.
To minimise errors we copy and paste the details into our design software and therefore it is important that these points are adhered to and that you type the wording as you would like it to appear, for example using capital letters for first letters of names.
